Description

Photograph of two pendants or amulets shaped like frogs. One is made of gold and was excavated in Panama. It was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930 and accessioned in 1931 (accession number R40989). It was transferred from the Museum's holdings in 1966. The other is ancient American and was acquired by the Museum at an unknown point and given accession number A301505. It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
