Description

Programme for the two-day meeting on "Demography" at The Royal Society, and galley proof of Penrose's paper "Genetical aspects of human infertility", read on the first day of the meeting, 15 November 1962, and published in Proceedings of the Royal Society. Also contains typescript notes, papers and abstracts relating to fertility in human populations, including Francis Galton's Presidential Address to the International Congress of Hygiene and Demography, 1891.
