Alcohol and Drug Foundation Australia (ADF) is Australia’s leading organization committed to preventing alcohol and other drug harms in the communities. In 1985 the Australian Foundation on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence became the Alcohol and Drug Foundation. The organization was established in 1959 to support the many post-war veterans who were suffering from alcohol dependence as a release from the trauma of war. Also known as The Australian Drug Foundation.
