The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "A drag performer identified verso as A.W. Teviotdale burlesques the performance of Huntley Wright in the role of Barry in ‘A Country Girl’, impresario George Edwardes’ Daly’s Theatre, London production which ran for 792 performances and was constantly revived over the next twenty or so years."
