Description

Collection of cookery, household and medical receipts and prescriptions, in several hands, The earliest date, 1 September 1831, occurs against a prescription on f. 36r. Among other prescriptions are two by George Peckitte Dale (1821-1893), FRCS (f. 64r.), who practised at Scarborough. There are two prescriptions for neurasthenia dated 28 January 1878 (ff. 64v.-65v.).
