Description
Notes on Gujarati history and legends, translations of inscriptions etc., compiled from c. 1852 (w.m. 1851). The volume contains various enclosures, most in Gujarati script, but including (at f. 80) a plan in ink and blue wash of a sacred site and (at f. 88) a letter to Forbes from Sir Henry Montgomery Lawrence (1806-1857).
