Photograph of a marble relief carving by Giovanni Pisano depicting a nativity scene showing the child about to be bathed, 13th century. The original carving is on the pulpit in San Andrea, Pistoja. This reproduction was made from Muellerheim, Robert: Die Wochenstube in der Kunst : eine kulturhistorische Studie, Stuttgart : Verlag von Ferdinand Enke, 1904.
