National Survey of the Health and Development of Children Joint Committee of the Institute of Child Health, Society of Medical Officers of Health and Population Investigation Committee

The National Survey began in 1946 and was funded by various organisations, including the Nuffield and Ford foundations. The Society replaced the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists on the Joint Committee in 1952. Dr H M Cohen was the Society's representative.
