Description

Reproduction of an illustration depicting a circle of interments from the Iron Age (circa 50 B.C.) with the caption "one of several family graves consisting of pits, each 2-3 feet deep. Disposed in irregular circles, and containing cinerary urns. Aylesford, Kent. The relics are now preserved in the British Museum." The illustration is possibly reproduced from a British Museum handbook.
