Photograph of a compound inhaler designed by Robert Ellis, for a mixture of alcohol, chloroform and ether, c.1870. The inhaler was accessioned by Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 28th April 1936 (R1955/1936) but is not held by Wellcome Collection.
