Apparently part of the anti-poison gas propaganda issued by the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, and from 1924 by its International Committee Against Scientific Warfare, that resulted in a clause in the 1925 Geneva Protocol by which abstention from use of poison gas was agreed by the signatories.
