Human evolution.

Peter Evans this week looks at whether or not the process of evolution has ceased within the human species. Some scientists believe it has, that we are now so clever at adapting our environment through the use of tools, we don't need to physically evolve further. Others disagree, pointing out that threats to human life such as disease pandemics mean it is still essential that we are evolving beings. One of the diseases it seems we are evolving a response to is HIV, just as chimpanzees developed resistance to Simian IV thousands of years ago. So, if we are evolving, just what are we evolving into?
