Looking at the challenge of screening and diagnosing heart problems in babies and young children. A number of congenital heart diseases are discussed in children. In each condition the discussion of auscultatory findings is preceded by clinical presentation and concluded by the description of x-ray and ECG findings. Suggestions for the appropriate treatment are made.
