About this work

Description

The legs are being charged up from the electricity mains at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Headley Court, a rehabilitation centre for the British Armed Forces. Headley Court in Surrey includes a country house with extensive grounds and gravel paths which were used as a training surface for people newly fitted with prosthetic legs. C-Leg is a brand of prosthetic leg made by the Ottobock company: it has a carbon fibre frame, a rechargeable battery, and sophisticated movement technology
