About this work
Description
Four short items, recorded during the day that a report was published by the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority and the Human Genetics Advisory Committee. The report recommends that government approval should be given for research into cloning human tissue which could be used to repair human body parts. It also recommends that a new law be formulated, to outlaw human cloning. The programme investigates the opposing arguments over the long term implications of this research, and whether or not it will inevitably lead to human cloning.
