About this work
Description
This documentary follows Luciana, a 7-year-old girl whose muscle tissue is turning into bone due to a rare genetic condition - fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (Myositis Ossificans) (FOP). Luciana and her mother speak with Paul Wordsworth an expert on the condition and Luciana's mother meets Robert Brian Kinghorn who, at 55, is the longest living FOP sufferer. We see how Luciana and her mother are preparing for her future as the condition worsens.
