The card has the October-March timetable on the back, though the year isn’t specified but the woman’s hairstyle would indicate the late 1920s.The pool boasted electric hair driers, pedicures and pools for ladies and gentlemen in a pleasant, comfortable environment but was closed on Sundays and public holidays. The card shows us that exercise and sport for the general public were becoming more commonplace and that there was more leisure time becoming available to people.
