To assist in improving the measurement of quality of life, these guidelines provide advice on the collection and use of measures of subjective well-being. They describe the best approaches for reliably and consistently measuring various dimensions of subjective well-being and provide guidance for reporting on such measures. The guidelines also feature examples of international measures and statistics.
