About this work

Also known as

Laws of variation and nature's great experiment.

Description

This DVD contains three short films by Jordan Baseman presented as a single sequence (the piece was revised by Baseman when the film toured as part of the Wellcome Trust's 'Identity' season). For this version the sequence of the films was re-ordered: the first film is 'Nature's Great Experiment' and is narrated by Lisa Cant, a researcher with TEDS (Twins Early Development Study). The second short film entitled 'Tape 1, Tape 2' is an unedited interview with a mother of 4-year-old identical twins. The last, 'Laws of Variation' is about twins and features Terrie Moffitt as a voice-over for various sections of the Wellcome Foundation Film Unit film 'Management of Twins in Pregnancy and Labour.'
