Cientlemen, In submitting- my 2()th Annual Report I sliould like to congratulate vou on the progress made in the adminstration of the town, not without difficulties and opposition, in attaining what must by now be admitted improvements. 1 will (jnly mention some of the most outstanding ones which, by not only contributing to the amenities and health of the town, have saved hundreds of lives. NEW SEWERACE WORKS which takes in an additional G‘T) acres, costing T72,(H)0 and includes areas for development such as the Weaverton Estate, the Coast Road, and the new Tumping wStation on the Rhyl to Prestatyn Road. The new outfall pipe is nearly double the size of the old one being 30 in. as against 18 in., but as the town has grown so rapidlv increased storage ca]:>acity must be provided for. THE TRAININC OE THE RIVER has been the n-ieans of restoring RhyTs prestige of golden sands as nothing (dse would, and done an immense amount of good to the foreshore. THE PROMEI>IADE IMPROVEMENT. The laving of the gardens, greens and rockeries on the front has considerable reduced the sandrift and in that way will save a lot of monev every year in cartage alone.
