Biographical note

COTEC - Committee of Occupational Therapists for the European Countries was established in 1986 under the name "Council of Occupational Therapists for the European Communities". The name was officially changed from "communities" to "countries" in the year 2000. Their aim is to help national occupational therapist groups work together to improve standards of professional practice and education, and advance the theory of occupational therapy throughout Europe. The society represents 215,000 Occupational Therapists across 33 European Countries.
