About this work

Description

This film is all about the history and work of the military charity St Dunstan's (in 2012 it re-launched under the new name Blind Veterans UK). The hospital and rehabilitation unit, established in 1915, re-located to Church Stretton. The current work and progress of people with various sight deficiencies are shown as well as interesting archive material; clips from a film made about St Dunstan's 'Victory Over Darkness' feature as well as older archive.
