A microcinematographic record of various movements of an anaesthetised rabbit's alimentary canal musculature, including "segmentation movements" in the first part of the duodenum; "swaying" or "pendular" movements in the small intestine; intussusceptions forming and pulling out; movements of the terminal part of the ileum; excessive activity of the caecum; movements of the haustrated colon; movements of "smooth" colon and propulsion of faecal balls, etc.
