Description
Programme notes and correspondence relating to an international symposium held in Milan in 1978 on health services and their influence on medical education. Also includes notes on health services in the UK, a newspaper article on the National Health Service (NHS) and an off-print of a journal article on Scottish medical schools and the NHS. In addition, it contains a booklet entitled "British Universities and Polytechnics and Overseas Development" produced for the IUC by a working group chaired by Sir Michael Swann, 1977. Also includes a draft of E. K. Cruickshank's reports on medical education in the UK, the use of short visits to and from the UK, and the training of doctors who work overseas.
