What you’ll do

Drop in to look through a unique collection of graphic novels and comics on themes including graphic medicine, LGBTQI+ stories, and health and human experience.

Graphic Novel Reading Room’ is a regular event that pops up in different spaces to share its collection of graphic novels and comics. You’re invited to read what you find in other people’s company, in a relaxed space.

Gabi Putnoki, founder of Graphic Novel Reading Room, will facilitate the session. Gabi will be available to welcome you, guide you through the collection and offer recommendations.

You can arrive any time between 14:00 and 18:30 and stay for as long as you like. Graphic novels and comics will be provided for you to read in the space. Everybody will be reading something different. There’s no organised discussion but you’re welcome to chat with other participants.

The material on display will include nudity and discussion of racism, homophobia, sexual violence and suicide.

This event is aimed at people aged 14 and over. Those aged 14–17 should be accompanied by an adult.
